It all started with a right swipe and a simple “hey gorgeous.” From there, a month of all-day texting turned into late-night conversations, inside jokes, and a first date that neither of us will forget — a spontaneous 11 p.m. dinner on a random Monday night at… Applebee’s. Miguel wasn’t totally sure Ash liked him, but Ash already knew something special was happening — and, she was right. Since that night, life together has been one big adventure. We love road trips (even when we take a wrong turn and find ourselves in the middle of a blizzard), adventures with our family and friends from Del Rio to Louisiana, visiting animal sanctuaries, and spending time with our pets — Gumbeaux, Rougie, and Baba Yaga. There’s never a dull moment, and that’s exactly how we like it. Miguel’s proposal took Ash completely by surprise. She thought she was planning a dinner to celebrate his new job — but little did she know, he was actually planning a proposal! Now here we are, so excited to say “I do.” We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people we love most
